Abstract
This report presents the research findings of a large- scale project into public transport accessibility for disabled people. The key objectives of the research were to examine disabled people’s travel patterns and to identify their travel needs and priorities It identifies what prevents people from travelling and thee measures required to move towards equal travel opportunity. Recommendations are presented of how such measures can successfully be implemented.
