Abstract
This paper discusses the Canadian Transportation Agency’s (Agency) work on the development of its transportation terminal accessibility standard. The paper will discuss the evolution of this work and will provide details in the way in which consultations were used to build consensus and acceptance. Mechanisms for monitoring compliance with the standard will also be addressed.
